The objective of this project was to create a calligraphic alphabet sampler using Beneventan minuscule, inspired by the ocean, pearls, and shells. explores texture, shimmer, and movement through mixed media.
About:
This calligraphic alphabet sampler uses Beneventan minuscule and mixed media techniques. Pencil was used for the initial sketch, gouache for a watercolor effect, and iridescent ink for shine. Pearl beads, hot glue, and chunky glitter were added to create water droplet textures and enhance the ocean-inspired theme.
