Objective:
I set out to design an elegant, refined typeface inspired by florals and vintage embroidery, with a focus on ornamental details and romantic charm. The final typeface strikes a balance between beauty and functionality, making it perfect for formal applications such as wedding invitations and event stationery.
About:
This typeface is inspired by lush greenery, delicate florals, and the intricate patterns of vintage embroidery. I began each letter with hand sketches, then refined their shapes using grid paper to ensure consistency and precision, before finalizing them in vector form. The result is a romantic, ornamental typeface with a carefully considered structure. To demonstrate its real-world use, I applied it to a wedding invitation, highlighting how it performs in a polished, formal layout.
